THE MEDITATION OF THE VAJRA SATTVA(DORJE SEMPA: OR DORSEM)

Teaching of Chagmed Rinpoche (Raga Asres) at the time of the Tenth KARMAPA and the fifth Dalai Lama.

Thinking of my body, in its present form meditating say:

"On the top of my head is a white lotus, and, on the moon disc within it a white letter HUNG, is standing, streaming light to the Buddhas in the sky. When the light returns, it is absorbed in the HUNG and this seed letter becomes the Vajra Sattva (Being), his body the, colour of moonstone, and adorned very beautifully with silks and jewels.

With his right hand he holds a vajra to his heart, and with his left he holds a bell upwards against his body, sitting in the lotus posture. From him the light is streaming in the ten directions, and invokes all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Falling in the form of light, they are absorbed in him.

From the garland of the 100 syllable mantra, the amrit nectar falls like rain in a constant shower. His body is filled with it, and then from his right big toe the nectar streams through the orifice at the top of my head. My body is full.

By means of this my faults and defilements pour out of my body through the lower gate(anus) and the two soles of the foot, in the form of smoke-coloured and coal black liquid which covers the ground beneath.

Meditating like this, and imagining the 100 syllable mantra wound like a white ribbon of light round the central HUNG in Dorsems heart, say the mantra OM VAJRA SATTVA SAMAYA/ MANU PAHLAYA/ VAJRA SATTVA TWENOPA TEETHA/DRIDHO ME BHAWA/ SUTO KHYO ME BHAWA/ SUPO KHYO ME BHAWA/ ANU RAKTO ME BHAWA/ SARVA SIDDHI MEM PRAYATSA SARVA KARMA SUTSA ME/TSITOM SHRIYA/ KURU HUNG HA HA HA HA HO/ BHAGAWAN/ SARVA TATHAGATA/VAJRA MAME MUNYTSA VAJRI BHAWA/MAHA SAMAYA SATTVA A H:

My body becomes like crystal, and is full of the amrit nectar like a glass vase full of milk

(7-21-108 )

Then the Valra Sattva says: "Son, the sins and veils of ignorance of yourself and all sentient beings are purified." He dissolves in light and is absorbed in me.

I become the very essence of the Divine Being and am absorbed in the Deathless.

Meditate upon this.
